As the designer I am here for creative input and ideas, but you have the final say, with that in mind I like to keep communication with you throughout the process, you can take as long or short as you would like making decisions, and my policy is that, if you don't like what I have given to you so far we can start all over again for no extra costs. Usually my process starts with some interaction with you, I usually like to ask what you aim to convey from the logo, I usually find this is conveyed well between us through a mood board of sorts from you about what designs you like and would like to have replicated in your piece. From that point I start sketching ideas and creating mockups, I'll deliver those to you and you can think it over, choose one, take a concept from one or try something else completely. After we've come to a decision on an initial concept we start the alterations, this is where we have constant communication, I send you alterations that you have suggested and you can give back feedback, and we will keep doing this until you're satisfied. Then I will finish up with the final lockup of the design and deliver the files you requested. I would also like to mention I have a post-job policy where I will gladly do small alterations or extra files for you for no extra cost, like resizing logo for different mediums, different file types for different situations etc. This is just something extra I allow if a client isn't capable of doing something like this themselves. I currently work at an hourly fee of £12 an hour, but I am willing to talk about a flat rate for one project as well.
